Privacy Policy
OnPoint CV · Effective July 1, 2026
This policy explains what OnPoint CV collects, why, and the choices you have. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Questions or requests: support@onpointcv.online.
The short version
You can build a CV without creating an account. We store the CV content you type so you can come back to it, and — only if you pay — a record of your purchase so you can download. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. You can delete your CV at any time.
What we collect
CV content you enter. Everything you put into a CV: your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and — if you add them — a photo, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, and similar personal details. Some of this can be sensitive, so only add what you want on your CV. It is stored so your CV persists and so we can render it as a PDF.
An anonymous session. When you start a CV we create an anonymous sign-in (a cookie) so the CV is tied to your browser. No email or password is required to build one.
Purchase details, if you buy. When you pay, our payment provider gives us your email and the order reference, which we store to unlock your download and to help if something goes wrong. Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider — we never see or store them. If you pay, we attach that email to your session so you can recover your CV on another device.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of providers, each only for what's needed to run the service:
Supabase — database and anonymous authentication. Lemon Squeezy — checkout and payments, as merchant of record (they handle the transaction and card data). Vercel — hosting. Resend — sending your receipt and download email. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country.
How long we keep it
We keep your CV and any purchase record while your CV is in use. You can delete a CV yourself at any time, which erases its content and the associated purchase record from our systems. We are adding automatic clean-up of abandoned drafts that were never purchased. Your payment provider keeps its own transaction records as the merchant of record, independently of us, as it is legally required to.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your CV and its data at any time from the editor, or by emailing support@onpointcv.online. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, or export your data, or to object to processing — email us and we'll help. Because a CV is tied to your browser session, please contact us from, or reference, the CV in question so we can find it.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie for your anonymous session — without it the CV can't be saved. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the effective date above. Contact us at support@onpointcv.online with any questions.
